Amazon launches government help shopping platform

Amazon introduced Amazon Access on Monday for government-aide buyers. The shopfront highlights SNAP EBT on Amazon, the Amazon Layaway program, and savings and coupons for important food goods.

Amazon Prime memberships are lowered for low-income clients. Amazon Grocery, Amazon Fresh, and Whole Foods accept SNAP benefits. The corporation says the new platform will consolidate these advantages

“Given the challenging economic situation, with many experiencing increased expenses on vital requirements, we want our consumers to know about all the

accessible goods on Amazon,” said Nancy Dalton, director of Amazon Access community relationships.

Amazon (AMZN) rebranded its Prime Access subscription. Amazon (AMZN) Access lets eligible consumers join up.

GlobalData Retail's Neil Saunders said the new gateway might help low-income buyers.
