Just four games into the 2022-23 season, the Lakers' best player, Anthony Davis, is suffering with an injury. An injury to his back has sidelined the All-Star forward. The Lakers are now 0-4
so losing Davis for any length of time would be devastating. It doesn't seem to be serious, but his participation in Friday's game is in doubt.
The Lakers have said that Davis' status for tonight's game against the Timberwolves will be determined at game time.
Today, Davis was among his teammates for morning shootaround.
Davis is putting up impressive numbers this year, averaging 24.0 points and 9.5 rebounds each contest. Lakers head coach Darvin Ham stated Davis' back is OK after Wednesday's defeat to the Nuggets.
"In other words, he's completely OK. What can I say, the guy is fine "What Ham told the press. "We were all worried when he took that shot to the back, but he managed to play
through it and end up helping us out quite a bit. However, he is perfectly healthy now." The game between the Lakers and the Timberwolves will begin at 8 o'clock tonight (ET).
