Boy, six, leaves vet in tears with his explanation on why dogs have short lives
After explaining why canines have shorter lives than people, a six-year-old child made a vet cry.
After his 10-year-old Irish wolfhound, Belker, began behaving up, Shane, a little child, was upset after visiting the vet with his parents, Ron and Lisa.
The family was heartbroken to find their dog had cancer despite expecting for a "miracle."
As we made plans, Ron and Lisa suggested that six-year-old Shane witness the surgery.
Shane "seemed so peaceful" throughout the treatment, that the doctor questioned whether he understood.
After Belker's death, we lamented the short lifespans of animals.
