Tuesday afternoon, it was purportedly agreed upon a deal between the Dallas Cowboys and the Las Vegas Raiders.
Johnathan Hankins, a defensive tackle, is being traded by the Raiders to the Cowboys, according to Ian Rapoport.
Then, according to Tom Pelissero, the Cowboys will trade a 2023 sixth-round pick for him in exchange for a 2024 seventh-round pick.
There is a decent chance he will play a significant amount of snaps with the Cowboys thanks to this solid depth move.
Hankins has participated in five games for the Raiders this year, starting one. He made a total of 10 tackles and one pass break up in those games.
He has played in 133 games and totaled 366 tackles for a career, including 203 solo stops, 14.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and 10 passes defensed.
