Dennis opens account as Forest climb off the bottom
Nottingham Forest beat Aston Villa 1-1 on Monday night thanks to Emmanuel Dennis' first-half goal.
Dennis headed in Morgan Gibbs-free-kick White's for Forest's first goal since Steve Cooper signed a new three-year deal.
Ashley Young's 25-yard half-volley seven minutes later gave Villa the lead.
In the second half, both teams tried their hardest to score the winning goal, but they were unable to do so.
Villa's current four-game win streak has them in 16th place with nine points.
Forest jumps above of Leicester City and into nineteenth place, giving them their first point in six games.
