Disney won't refund hurricane-canceled trips

You're probably not pleased if you have Disney World tickets this week. Hurricane Ian shuttered Orlando's theme park on September 28. It was closed for days to "watch" the weather.

Disney won't reimburse you for any missed days. After sweeping Cuba on September 27, Hurricane Ian was raised to a Hurricane Warning. Disney World closed during the storm in Florida.

Even if the firm closed, a "hurricane policy" only allows tourists to prolong their stay without a return.

Partially used multi-day theme park tickets with a shutdown due to Hurricane Ian will be automatically extended until September 30, 2023.

"To access a park, you need a reservation and a valid ticket on the same day."
The firm provided another update on September 29, 2022, with ambiguous reopening intentions.

Theme parks and numerous functioning areas are closed today, although weather should improve this evening.
