Twitter's turbulent transition has ended with Elon Musk's $44 billion purchase.

Musk has taken control of Twitter, according to reports from CNBC and Insider.

After Musk claimed he would not buy Twitter for $54.20 per share, Twitter sued him in July.

Musk's attempt to buy Twitter and privatise it has been fraught with complications.
