Former NFL Player reportedly shot and killed at age 32

A former NFL player was killed in a shooting. He spent numerous NFL seasons with the Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars, as well as a few years playing arena football.

Antonio Dennard, a defensive back who spent five years playing professionally, passed away early this morning at a hospital in Muhlenberg, Pennsylvania. In his 32 years, he was.

WFMZ reports that the incident happened early on Sunday morning in front of a hotel and a pub. Before the planned autopsy, authorities declared Dennard's death to be a homicide.

Dennard attended Langston University where he played collegiate football before being hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012.

 After spending training camp with the New York Giants, he signed on with the Packers the next year, staying in Green Bay for the subsequent two seasons.

He entered the Arena Football League in 2015 and signed up with the Arizona Rattlers, where he played for the following two seasons.
