How automobile industry is clawing back to pre-Covid figures

Mahindra & Mahindra underestimated the reaction to its Scorpio-N SUV reservations on July 30.

25,000 reservations were made in the first minute and over 1 lakh in 30 minutes.

This alone is worth Rs 18,000 crore ex-showroom.

Since 2002, Mahindra's Scorpio has sold well.

A new SUV, the Scorpio-N, has been completely redesigned. The Scorpio Classic, a modified Scorpio model, was also kept.

The July-launched Maruti Suzuki Brezza small SUV has booked over 1.06 lakh units.
