With Christmas quickly approaching, businesses large and small are beginning to decorate for the season. While Starbucks is known for serving beverages in its distinctive holiday cups,
KFC offers its own special holiday packaging every year. According to Reader's Digest and the KFC website, the first franchised Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant debuted in Salt Lake City in 1952.
According to KFC's website, there are now more than 25,000 restaurants in 145 different countries and territories.
When purchasing for a large group, fast food restaurants provide holiday-themed buckets that come with a free dessert while supplies last.
There's also the urban legend that this same manager disguised up as Santa Claus and attended a Christmas party, where he was a big hit with the kids.
Whatever the case may be, the marketing was successful, and KFC is now a staple of Japanese Christmas celebrations
