Kristaps Porzingis Won't Return to Wizards-Hornets Preseason Game After Ankle Injury

Kristaps Porzingis hurt his ankle in Monday's preseason game against the Charlotte Hornets.

He hadn't played since Jan. 29 due to a bone bruise. Throughout his NBA career, it was a trend.

Porzingis missed 10 games as a rookie, but it was the last time he reached 70.

Beal inked a five-year, $251 million supermax agreement in July, ensuring Washington's playoff hopes.

Porzingis' arrival came as the Wizards tried to stay competitive without Bradley Beal.

Wizards need Porzingis to remain healthy and return to his Knicks All-Star form.
