Major Kyrie Irving statement from Floyd Mayweather

Kyrie Irving, the suspended star point player for the Brooklyn Nets, shared a contentious, antisemitic video on social media.

If Irving's suspension lasts five games, he will forfeit $2.2 million since he will be required to fulfill a number of team-imposed requirements before he can play again.

Rapper Kanye West, who is facing accusations of antisemitism of his own, has supported the Nets player.

Now that Floyd Mayweather, a champion boxer, is one of his backers, Irving can add another well-known athlete to that list.

Kyrie, how are you? I am aware of your struggles. We got to hang out in 2016 when you were the American representative [at the Olympics].

In a statement, Mayweather said: "When you represented the Red, White, and Blue. "You merely desired to receive fair treatment.
