McDonald's finally gave customers a surprise before winter by adding a permanent chicken burger on the menu after years of requests.

McCrispy was earlier offered by the firm as the Crispy McFillet burger.

The McCrispy is a burger made of breaded, fried chicken and served on a sourdough bun that has been glazed and dusted with sesame seeds.

The black pepper-and-cayenne-marinated crispy chicken breast offers plenty of flavour and a hint of spiciness.

According to Mirror, the McCrispy will cost £6.49 in an Extra-Value meal and premiere on October 19.
