McDonald's staff implore adults not to purchase Happy Meals as a marketing tactic.

McDonald's frontline personnel is stressed because people demand adult Happy Meals.

McDonald's began offering adult Happy Meals on Monday. The unique offering comes with a toy, in partnership with streetwear company Cactus Plant Flea Market. Promotion ends at month's end.

Potential consumers were pleased about the special offer and limited edition toys, but McDonald's staff weren't. One worker told Kotaku, "I can feel my colleagues' worry."

ikTok and Reddit are where employees vent. One employee commented on TikTok, "Stop ordering them." Another employee wrote "adult happy meals going nuts" over a video showing Happy Meal orders.

One subreddit user said, "We ran out of boxes the first day, toys the second, and the truck doesn't arrive until tomorrow." "Not enjoyable."

McDonald's reintroduced their Szechuan dipping sauce for one day in 2017 to promote Rick and Morty.
