Shootings rock two school football games

Mass shootings during high school football games in two cities

In two places, the sacred ritual of Friday night football games was shattered when gunshots left one person dead and four more injured.

Shots were fired during the homecoming football game for McLain High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

There were hundreds of people there when police came, but we were able to locate two casualties. At the scene, a male teenager aged 17 was declared deceased.

Tulsa police stated in a statement that another 17-year-old was brought to a nearby hospital "in critical condition but has improved to stable condition at this time."

Approximately three individuals were shot after a scuffle in the parking lot of the Newburgh, New York stadium, more than a thousand miles away. There were no fatalities, and no one has been caught.
