Stellantis offers buyouts to certain salaried employees in tech transformation move
Another Detroit Three company is cutting jobs to produce greener, more tech-packed cars.
Jeep manufacturer Stellantis NV said Friday it has given some paid U.S.
55-year-olds and 10-year firm veterans are eligible. 30 year pensioners are also eligible.
Tinson said that workers received a "favourable bundle of perks that otherwise would not be accessible to them."
The company won't say how many of its 13,000 salaried U.S. workers accepted the offer.
