Herbert Allen, 37, and Dion Ridley, 23, pleaded guilty to mail fraud conspiracy.

Allen and Ridley plotted to crash Allen's automobile into a tractor-trailer near New Orleans in June 2017.

Both Allen and Ridley lied in depositions to get compensation from the tractor-owner, trailer's driver, and insurance.
