This past Wednesday, veteran linebacker A.J. Klein was released by the Chicago Bears.
A.J. Klein, who was traded to the Bears by the Ravens for Roquan Smith last month, has been released.
The Bears released Klein and replaced him with seasoned defensive end Taco Charlton off the Saints' practise squad and injured reserve call-up linebacker Matt Adams.
Klein, who was selected by Carolina in the fifth round in 2013. He played his first four professional seasons with the Panthers.
Klein played for the Buffalo Bills in 2020-21. Beginning in early October, he was a member of the New York Giants' practise squad until being claimed by the Baltimore Ravens.
Klein started one of Baltimore's two games he participated in. After making five tackles, he was traded to Chicago for Smith and two draught selections.
