Amazon shoppers spent less during holiday Prime event than during July sale

Adobe Analytics predicts that e-commerce sales for November and December will total $209.7 billion, a 2.5% increase from $202.1 billion in 2020.

While it is impossible to know for sure how much people spent during the two-day sale, estimates provided by independent parties may provide some insight.

This week marked the first time Amazon provided substantial discounts to Prime members twice in one year.

Walmart offers specials this week and has extended its gift return window until Jan. 31.

Last week, Target kicked off their Christmas sales with a two-day sale.
